My
Story
What my couples
say about me
You really were amazing and went along with all our madcap requests with such humour and sincerit. We had the most incredible day, full of laughter and love - the service you gave us was perfect, thank you so much.
We have sent you a link to the photographs - please do download them (they are still loading up but should be all there in the morning) and use to promote your business.
Thanks again Alan, we are so grateful
My name is Alan and I have been a part of Celebrants in France for the last 6 years. I was encouraged to join by my Celebrant colleague Roland when I retired from the Police after 30 years and 2 weeks of service. Roland thought it was right up my street! I was looking for a new career in France and we both believed my personal skills learnt in the Police would help me as a celebrant.

I have had a property in the south west of France for a number of years and I love escaping city life, the food, climate, people and the wine!

I share my life with Janet and I have two gorgeous dogs which are two Romanian rescues, Tilly and Reg.

What makes me a good celebrant? I have the ability to actively listen to what my couples tell me and create their personalised ceremony. Also being able to respond to unexpected happenings during a ceremony with tact and good humour.

What I love about being a Celebrant? I love seeing ceremonies come to life after months of planning and I also love seeing the smiles on the couples' faces when they have appreciated the part that I've played in their big day.
